8th Grade Promotion: June 12
The ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. Seating for family & friends opens at 8:30. (Space is extremely limited; NO MORE than 4 guests per student.) All 8th graders should report to their 4th period class at the start of school.
8th grade promotion is at Miwok. Seating will not open until 8:30 am, the ceremony starts at 9:30 am and should end by approximately 11:30. There will be no saving seats. Please limit the amount of guests to no more than 4 per student as space is extremely limited.
If you bring balloons or flowers that day for your student, they will need to be stored in room 109 until after the ceremony. We know that families may want to take their children to celebrate after the ceremony, which you are welcome to do.
Our gates on J street will be open for parking in the back of the school and Safeway will have some spots available for us to use that are not reserved for their shoppers (on the J street side of their lot- but you must move your car after the ceremony). This event is outdoors. Please be mindful that it may be hot, so it is recommended that you bring your own water.
