Girls Volleyball

Team Green and Team Gold compete in the SCUSD Middle School Volleyball league.  In 2013 Team Green (formally Team Sutter) won the inaugural championship to bring home Sutter’s first volleyball banner.  Team Green has won every city championships since 2015.  Team Gold (formally Team Miners) has had winning records for all of its seasons.

This sport is played during the Fall season. Tryouts are in August before school starts and the championship tournament is at the end of October.  Practices are after school every day and games are Mondays and Wednesdays.

Volleyball Tryouts

Interested in trying out for volleyball for the 2024-2025 school year?  Please pre-register for tryouts.  You will be sent a number for tryout–please provide the email you would like the number and confirmation of registration to be sent to.  *You may also register for tryouts the first day*

  • August 19th   7th grade only 2:45-4:30pm 

    •                  8th grade only 4:30-6:30pm

  • August 20th    Call Backs 3-4:30

  • August 21st   Call Backs 3-4:30

  • August 22nd   Call Backs 3-4:30 (if needed)

Practices will begin August 22nd or 23rd
