Sports Participation Clearance: Click here for more details.

We will be using the Home Campus online system for sports participation paperwork for your child to be cleared to participate for the 25-26 school year. You will need to create a profile online and complete the required paperwork. Please complete all of the required forms and upload them, here is a link to the forms (the physical form must be signed by your medical doctor). Once on file, these forms will be sufficient for any and all school sports for the 2025-2026 school year.

Welcome to Miwok Middle School, Home of the Mighty Oaks!  Miwok Middle School is known as the “Pride of the City”.  Our school has a rich and diverse history that provides a unique and unforgettable educational experience for all students. We are proud that MMS is a destination school for students from all over the greater Sacramento area.  We strive to maintain a culturally inclusive environment where differences are valued and honored, and where all students feel that they are safe and welcome.

This is an option available to students to “Get to Know Miwok Middle” before the school year for an opportunity to meet other students, go on a campus tour, and get to know our school. Click here for more details.

This is an option available to students to “Get to Know Miwok Middle” before the school year for an opportunity to meet other students, go on a campus tour, and get to know our school. (This is designed for students only) There are 2 session times available, but they are identical so please only choose one.

Incoming 7th Grade Orientation
All incoming 7th graders should attend orientation on Monday, August 11. Click here for details.

At orientation, we provide information for students and parents including class schedules and student placement, PE requirements, basic school rules and expectations, carpool sign ups, RT bus information, PTSO information, and more. We will have class schedules printed and available so students can walk around campus to see where their classes are located. (Note: Final schedules should be available online on Infinite Campus less than a week prior to the start of school as changes and balancing are continuing to take place)
